There are many self help sites on the internet and which ones work for you will depend very much on what you are trying to achieve (and whereabouts you are in the world). Here is a selection you may find useful. Some of the sites on here are ones that I use regularly myself (I will say so if I do).

www.thedistanceinbetween.com

This is our new site – it still has a self-help feel about it but focusses more on living abroad and dual-nationality families.

www.britishexpats.com

You don’t have to be British to find this site useful but if you are considering emigrating, or if you already live abroad this site is indispensable. A very comprehensive site with many useful forums.

www.changingminds.org

This is a wide ranging site that covers a lot of different aspects of change. There are management techniques for promoting change, articles on the psychology of change, techniques such as understanding body language and so on. You can lose track of time whilst browsing this site!

www.stevenaitchison.co.uk

This is a great site and Steven has built up quite a community of  personal-development bloggers. Give it a go!
